Professional Biography
Mandy A. Schepper currently serves as Deputy District Attorney within the Office of the District Attorney in Washington County, Wisconsin. While in law school at Marquette University, Mandy was a volunteer intern at the Washington County District Attorney’s Office; this internship developed into a calling as a prosecutor and a life of service to her community. She began her career upon graduation from law school with the Sauk County District Attorney’s Office from May 2006 to April 2007. Mandy joined the Washington County District Attorney’s Office in April of 2007 as an Assistant District Attorney.
Mandy has prosecuted thousands of cases from county ordinance violations to homicide. Having spent most of her career in Washington County, she has worked to ensure the safety of the community. Mandy also supports law enforcement. She provides specialized training directly to law enforcement agencies within and outside of Washington County on a variety of legal topics, including case law updates, OWI investigation and enforcement, domestic violence investigations, and school resource officer training.
Mandy has tried over one hundred jury trials in her career. Some of her recent trial victories from 2023 resulted in convictions for 30 counts of Possession of Child Pornography and drug convictions among other offenses. Her caseload specializes in sensitive crimes and drug offenses. Mandy truly believes in the justice system; although it is imperfect, she is committed to justice that benefits Washington County.
